Sherry has over 15 years of comprehensive human resources experience including compensation & benefit, international mobility , Talent acquisition and retention, conflict resolution, change management, employee relations administration. She demonstrated HR shared service experience in leading and managing HR transformation with multi-disciplinary teams in region to clarify authority and value added service. She possesses broad HR knowledge of Human Resources in a variety of sectors including union and non-union environments and Fortune 500 companies with a large number of employees service in region. 


At the moment Sherry heads the Global HRSSC at Alibaba Group. Prior to joining Alibaba, she was the head of Philips People Service- North Asia and based in Shanghai with responsibility for HR shared service (IM, learning and Talent Acquisition Admin, and HR Admin& payroll etc.) Prior to joining Philips in 2010, Sherry worked in Global Mobility Service in GE China as Asia leader –compensation & benefit support and British Petroleum China as North Asia IM leader. As her career demonstrates, Sherry has been specialized in Asia-wide mobility compensation knowledge and payrolls policies & tax laws, immigration laws and relocation regulations, and HR operations. Recent years she has also been leading the team to establish North Asia regional share service center providing common service to North Asia countries with E2E standardized process and advance global tools service 18,000 employees and managers with HR contact center and one HR portal.


Sherry joined the Expatise Faculty in 2014.
