According to the EU Directives on the posting of workers (PWD), a posted worker is an employee sent to another country in the EU/ EEA/ Swiss region by their employer to carry out a service toward a service recipient on behalf of their employer.

The PWD regime has been implemented in the local legislation of the member states. However, differences exist between the member states in how they implemented the PWD. As a result, employers are facing major challenges in finding out which obligations they must meet and how to meet them.

In this course, you will find lessons on specific PWD obligations as well as lessons on Labor Law and Social Security implications of posting workers in this particular region.
