About the event
The objective of the webinar is to provide participants with a clear legal and practical understanding of the current dynamics of posting within the EU, and the compliance challenges that arise when labour mobility becomes part of a long-term business strategy.
Posting of workers was originally conceived as a consequence of cross-border service provision. Yet in today’s labour market, it increasingly functions as a structural business model, particularly in sectors facing acute labour shortages across the European Union.
This webinar examines how this evolution emerged and what it means for companies operating across borders.
We will begin with the origins of the posting framework, tracing the concept back to the landmark CJEU ruling in Rush Portuguesa (C-113/89), which recognised the right of service providers to temporarily bring their workers into another Member State before the adoption of the Posted Workers Directive (96/71/EC).
