Sanne is attorney-at-law at Pallas Attorneys-at-Law, an Amsterdam boutique law firm specialized in employment law and worker’s participation law. She specializes in employment law and advises and litigates in a wide variety of cases. She represents and advises employers in matters relating to employment contracts, employment policies, cross border employments, redundancies, dismissals, employee participation and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Sanne has a special focus on international employment law and expats. She started her career at a large international law firm. She regularly gives lectures and has published widely in the field of employment law. Sanne gives seminars and workshops in cooperation with the Expatcenter in Amsterdam and used to be a teacher on the subject international employment law at the University for Professional Education in Utrecht (HU).
Clients of Sanne and Pallas Attorneys-at-Law exist of multinational companies (e.g. AEX, NYSE, TSX, PSX, NASDAQ), Dutch and international middle market companies, works councils, directors, expats and higher management. Sanne has many Asian companies amongst her clients.
Sanne graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2006 and was admitted to the Dutch bar in 2006. She completed the post academic specialist course in employment law at the Grotius Academy in 2010. Sanne is a member of the Netherlands Employment Law Association, the Netherlands Association of Employment Lawyers and the Amsterdam Association of Employment Lawyers.Besides her work for Pallas and the Expatise Academy (since 2012), Sanne is a supervisor at the Amsterdam Legal Aid Foundation and an Ambassador of Foundation LaLuz.
Sanne joined the Expatise Faculty in 2013.
