A programme that fits both needs
Over the last two decades we have witnessed an intensification of cross-border personnel flows, which have increased the workload of Global Mobility Professionals dramatically.
Although the high pace and impact of globalisation played their part herein, it was predominantly the diversification in cross-border deployment that widened the Global Mobility scope and led to an unparalleled extension to responsibilities. GM Professionals were no longer dealing with long term expatriations and the odd short term assignment, almost overnight they found themselves in huge numbers of short term assignments from 2 months up to 2 years as well as a myriad of new types of assignments: international hires, cross border commuters, frequent business travelers, digital workers, global nomads, intra-company transferees, dual career assignees, etc.

International Business Travelers, Commuters, Digital Workers: an interdisciplinary approach
The event provided the participants with trends and insights specifically geared towards these types of assignments. How to track worker movement and make sure their cross-border trips and activities are compliant with a growing number of rules and regulations. How to cope with governments becoming more motivated to enforce these rules and regulations and increasingly adept at catching transgressions.
The Learning Event consisted of two parts:
MORNING PROGRAMME Awareness and understanding
Learning from experiences how to respond to these challenges (morning program): Introduction to the fundamentals of compliance requirements and implications thereof for practice, followed by discussions with peers and Expatise Faculty members.
Target group: HR generalists, GM Leaders, everyone who wants to know more about the topic.
Level of knowledge required: beginner, intermediate.
AFTERNOON PROGRAMME In-depth analysis
Refreshing knowledge, latest developments and points of attention: Deep-dive in compliance requirements and need-to-know information on the ‘dos and don'ts’. Additionally, practical cases will be discussed and best practices will be exchanged. Participants have the opportunity to bring their cases to these discussions.
Target group: GM specialists and everyone who wants to learn about managing and controlling GM processes on the topic.
Level of knowledge required: intermediate, advanced.
