Jelle Romeijn is working as a Senior Manager in the mobility pillar of the People Advisory Services practice at EY. He joined EY in 2003 after graduating from Leiden University (masters in Direct Tax and Fiscal Advocacy). In 2001 he also studied for 6 months at the Boston University, School of Law. In 2008 Jelle followed a post master course regarding European Tax Law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

Jelle has over 13 years of experience in the field of global mobility. Jelle advises multinational companies on their assignment policies and related processes including tax, payroll, international social security, pension, immigration and relocation matters. Jelle also advises on other cross-border employment matters such as short term business travelers, managing stock incentive plans for international employee populations, international payroll and compensation management. In 2006 Jelle was assigned to China for a period of 3 months to work within EY’s People Advisory Services practice of Shanghai.

Jelle is a member of the NOB (‘Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs’) and is a regular speaker at seminars and events.

Jelle joined the Expatise Faculty in 2016.
