Bart is founder and one of the partners of Maes Staudt Advocaten N.V. in Eindhoven. After completing his accounting / tax studies in his home country – Belgium – he studied Dutch law at the Maastricht University in The Netherlands. Before starting his ‘boutique law-firm’ in 2006 - Maes Advocatuur which firm was incorporated by Maes Staudt Advocaten in 2008 - Bart worked for Holland Van Gijzen in Eindhoven and Banning in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Maes Staudt Advocaten is solely focused on (national and international / cross border) labour law and business immigration. These areas are also Bart’s field of expertise with a special interest for business immigration and temporary employment / secondment of employees. He lectured at numerous seminars, workshops and courses whether or not in cooperation with / invited by third parties like Tilburg University, SDU, Holland Expat Center South, etc.
Since its establishment in 2008, Maes Staudt Advocaten has become a leading law firm in the niche of employment law and business immigration. The firm has – amongst others – many Asian companies amongst its clients, both for labour and immigration issues. The firm has a large and solid national and international network of specialists and a good relationship with the Dutch government. A couple of years ago, Maes Staudt Advocaten also established an advisory board with university (assistant) professors as its members. In this way, Maes Staudt Advocaten is always at the pinnacle of its fields of expertise.
