Who are we and what drives us

Inge Nitsche

​

Inge got her LLM degree at Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 1982 and continued to specialise in Tax Law at Leiden University and the Dutch Tax Administration. Between 1989 and 2002, she consulted employers on international taxes and global workforce topics. In 2002, she created the Expatise™ brand and formula and fully dedicated herself to the professionalization of expatriate management, both from an employer's and assignee's perspective, in corporate (interim) HR Global Mobility management roles and advisory roles to many profit and non-profit multinational companies, as well as national government organizations. Between 2007 and 2010, she chaired the Dutch Expatriation Foundation, a collaborative network organization for international employers in the Netherlands. In 2010, the Expatise Center was founded in close collaboration with these employers and in 2011 the Expatise Academy. Since its inception, Inge has been its chairwoman and CEO.

Ernst Steltenpöhl

​

Ernst worked in several HR positions lastly responsible for Global Management Development and Compensation and Benefits at Heineken, the Federation of the Netherlands Industry, the HR consultancy firm LTP and Sara Lee. He is the founder of the non-European Comp&Ben forums for global firms (Far East and Australia, Latin America, Canada, Middle East and Afrika). He is a well-known expert in multinational and top management Comp&Ben issues and solutions. Ernst has a Master's degree in Management & Organization and Sociology and studied at the Amsterdam University, INSEAD, Tilburg University and Cornell University.
Ernst is co-founder of the Expatise Academy and designer/ lecturer for International Comp&Ben subjects.

Ruud Leether

​

Ruud is Expatise's legal counsel and specialist in (IT) Contract Law. Before joining Expatise he was legal counsel of the Ministry of Justice in the Netherlands and guest lecturer at the Academy for Business Management. Ruud is frequently invited to preside symposia and publish professional articles and webblogs. He currently holds the office of substitute Judge of the Court of Justice in the Netherlands and legal arbitrator for SGOA and NAI.
